(open larger view)The problem
I enjoy researching and investing in natural resources companies, but keeping track of everything that matters is surprisingly difficult.
Mining is a complex, information-heavy industry. A company's prospects can change dramatically based on commodity prices, exploration results, project developments, financing announcements, or regulatory decisions. To make things worse, it is filled with unscrupulous actors who seek to mislead retail investors with empty promises. As the common saying goes: “A gold mine is a hole in the ground with a liar standing on top of it.”
The information is scattered across company websites, financial reports, news releases, and specialized industry publications. Prices for niche metals can be particularly difficult to find, despite being critical to understanding the economics of certain mining projects.
Following several companies means constantly checking different sources, piecing information together, and trying not to miss anything important.

I built OreSignal, a research platform that brings together the information I need to follow mining companies and understand their investment potential.
The platform combines metal prices, including hard-to-find niche commodities, with detailed company research, project insights, and financial analysis.
Users can follow companies, stay informed through their latest news releases, monitor upcoming catalysts, and assess financial health through cash positions, quarterly spending, cash runway, and financing history.
Rather than jumping between dozens of websites, investors can find the most relevant information in one place.
The goal isn't to make investment decisions for users, but to make the research process more efficient and help investors make better-informed decisions.
